I wanted leave a rating without a review to save face (for your benefit), but given the response from the sales people (quoted below), it deems a proper review. You say you worked your but of to get me approval, yet I don't see how that would be that hard given my credit score of 750 with perfect payment history, income above $30,000 a year, and a total vehicle cost of $16500 with $5000 down payment. Furthermore, it's part of your job, if I'm not mistaken. Next, I gave the application for the vehicle on Friday, was approved Saturday, and came to look at the car Monday. After receiving an offer to pay upwards of a 20% interest on what should be a reasonable payment and three notifications of credit inquiry on your behalf without my verbal consent or acknowledgement (I understand one inquiry, but three?), I was told you would look for a better interest payment on my behalf and would call me the following day or day after that. I was okay with waiting for you all to see if you could get a better interest rate and had already confirmed I would purchase the car at the price. Low and behold, no call comes in, so I had to make the call to you. Turns out, no one there could tell me what the status was. Later that day I'm left a voicemail (note, not from the salesperson who was assigned to me) saying the vehicle was sold. If that isn't a disappointment, I don't know what is, especially given the relative rarity of the vehicle, hence my rating. I would give lower if I could. If this isn't sales people who value cash more than customers, I don't know what is. Don't buy from here, don't waste your time, and don't be disappointed like me. "Robbie, it’s sad that you would leave us a terrible review when we worked our tail off to get you approved, dropped the vehicle $1200 and gave you more than enough time to buy a vehicle that we ultimately had to sell to someone else."
The most fantastic car buying experience ever!!! Most car dealers have a mission to wear you down, keeping you on their lots for hours and trained to pressure you into buying a vehicle. I used to sell cars locally at one of the largest dealerships and the daily training on how to brow beat customers, taking control of the sale, not allowing customers to give a NO answer is horrible. NOT with Instant Equity Auto in Meridian. I took my son out yesterday to buy his first truck crossing the valley a couple times completely avoiding the big companies and when we pulled into Instant Equity Auto we met the owners son, a very polite young man who will someday continue making his father proud by carrying on the best car buying experience I have experienced in the Treasure Valley. A very relaxed atmosphere where their main goal is making you the customer happy. They even took time to drive down to their other store in Boise and return with the F-150 we were just interested in seeing, going far and beyond expectations, they could have easily told us to drive to the other location and look, but no they went and brought it back for my son to drive. Pricing was more than fair. Like I mentioned, I used to sell cars and know how to value a vehicle and they bent over backwards to give us a more than fair price and quick easy financing. Now get this.... from the time we drove onto the lot and left with the F-150 was less than 1 1/2 hours and this included a test drive without a salesman hovering and constantly pointing out features in the truck. You want a home town experience in buying a vehicle? Well then I highly recommend you make Instant Equity in Meridian your first stop! Thank you Dean for your professionalism, honesty and knowledge. Today we bought a new truck, and the staff was so amazing they had answers to every question we had. The young man that helped us was named Cole.
